As part of our on-going charity partnership with Acorns Children’s Hospice, earlier this year, we installed four Oxford Elara overhead hoists to replace some failing and dated products in their Walsall hospice.
The replacements and their installation were supported by our Rob Ordish, our Technical Support Engineer and his keen apprentice, Marketing Manager, Curtis Jordan!
As ever, the team at Acorns were very grateful for our support which helps them to continue providing the very best possible care to the children and families who use the hospice.
On a more humble note, some of you may have read in the news that the Walsall hospice was set to close towards the end of this year as a result of running costs out-stripping fundraising
efforts. Fortunately, after hitting the headlines, additional funding has been secured, bringing a stay of execution up to April 2020. This has provided a further window of opportunity
to campaign for further funds and hopefully keep the Walsall hospice open for the foreseeable future.
