During the course of this year, Joerns Healthcare has visited all three Acorns Children’s Hospice sites, to assess and provide brand new patient slings to fully meet the needs of the children and young adults in their care. Marketing Manager, Curtis Jordan accompanied by Area Sales Manager, Lee Norrish made separate visits to each of the three sites to discuss and assess the needs of each facility. After extensive discussions with the resident physiotherapists at Acorns and some subsequent trials of Oxford slings, Joerns has provided a full suite of brand new slings to replace older and ageing models.
Alison Bennett, whom we met at the Three Counties Hospice in Worcester had this to say “This is incredibly generous of your company and we are very grateful here at Acorns in Worcester! The
children will benefit greatly from your contributions”. Lee Norrish adds “It was an absolute pleasure to offer our support to such an incredible organisation like Acorns. They do
unbelievable, truly humbling work in the local community and we’re delighted to be able to contribute in this way”.
