Summary. Safe People Handling and moving and handling people training was recently completed by Joerns’ UK Sales Team. This OFQUAL-regulated, ROSPA-accredited course ensures robust quality assurance, encompassing health, safety, and best practices in care environments.

 

Our UK Sales Team has recently and successfully completed a moving and handling Level 3 Train the Trainer Award for Safe People Handling. This is a course we now offer as a service. Therefore, it was important that the sales team gained a firsthand understanding of the content and demands of attendees.

Patient Lifting And Handling Course | What It Covers

This course consists of two mandatory units covering theory and practical knowledge. It concerns the principles and practice that underpin the safe movement of people. As well as risk assessments in care and nursing home environments. It also covers:

  • Health and safety
  • Welfare
  • Human rights legislative requirements
  • Best practice.

The course facilitates knowledge of how to train others in the safe movement of people and provides key resources to enable this.

The programme is OFQUAL regulated and accredited by ROSPA Qualifications. Therefore, ensuring the most robust quality assurance of any training of this type. In addition, meeting and exceeding the required standards set out by the Care Quality Commission in all required areas.
